Brett Young’s latest single, “Mercy,” is in the top 15 on the charts and continuing to climb, but he is anxious to share with fans the new music from his sophomore album, which he is close to completing. According to Brett, “We’ve already recorded nine of the 12 for the next record and we wrote most of it on that Lady Antebellum tour last year. I had writers out almost every week on the bus.”
Brett’s current single, “Mercy,” will be the last song he releases off his self-titled debut album, which has already produced three #1 hits, with “Sleep Without You,” “In case You Didn’t Know” and “Like I Loved You.” Then he says, “Sometime this summer we’ll come with a single from the new record. So I’m super excited. I’m kind of chomping at the bit. This record’s been so special and so good to me but I’m ready to put out new music.”
“Mercy is currently in the top 15 on the charts, which means it shouldn’t be too much longer before fans will be getting some brand new music from Brett.”
