(AUDIO) BRETT YOUNG FEELS INCREDIBLY BLESSED BUT SOMETIMES MISSES BASEBALL

Before Brett Young’s baseball pitching career was ended by an elbow injury, he was headed to a career in the majors, and if he’s being honest, he says, “Yeah, there’s a little bit of me that wishes I was out there.  But I would feel guilty to regret or feel bad about what ended up going down. I’m so blessed to get to do what I get to do.”

Brett recently got to throw a few balls with his dad on the field in Dodger Stadium, and he says, “I never thought that the first time I threw off the mound at Dodger Stadium would be because I sing, but that’s the way it worked out and I still got to, and there are people that dream of that all the time.”

Things have worked out well for Brett in country music, with five number one songs and his sixth, “Catch,” about to break into the top 30, so he says, “I feel very blessed and I miss it but I get to be so close to it now with so many professional athletes that are fans of music. So I feel like I’m right where I’m supposed to be.”
