Brett Young and his wife, Taylor, have been married for a year, and the upcoming CMA Awards will be one of their first date nights since the birth of their baby girl, Presley Elizabeth, just three weeks ago. Over the past couple of years Brett and Taylor have attended quite a few awards shows, and he says, “I’ve learned now with these award shows that I could never ever be a woman. What she goes through to make sure just, a dress is right for the awards and it fits, and then that I have something to wear that won’t clash, and things that guys never think about.”
For that reason alone, Brett is thankful that Taylor’s kind of in charge when it comes to their outfits for special occasions like the CMA Awards. “She’s basically, like it’s either, ‘Brett what are you wearing?’ so she can go shopping. Or it’s ‘Brett I’m wearing this, so, you need to wear something along these lines,’ which has been great for me because my male brain doesn’t think that way. So, she’s upgraded me. It’s been good.”
