When it comes to Mother’s Day, Brett Young believes it’s important to not only celebrate his mom, but his mom and dad’s moms because he says, “I’ve also been blessed to have incredible grandmoms and to see how they impacted my mom and my dad and made them the people that they’ve become.”
Brett knows moms don’t always get the credit and the recognition they deserve and because of that he says, “Mother’s Day is extremely important because the job of a mother is one of the most important. And I’m so grateful to my mom and my grandmoms and all the women in the lineage that came before them because it’s such a sometimes thankless job but they do it so selflessly and I’m so grateful for it.”
Brett, who will soon release the follow-up to his #1 song, “Here Tonight,” will have another mom to celebrate, when his wife, Taylor, gives birth to their first child, a baby girl, this fall.
