(AUDIO) BRETT YOUNG’S “CATCH” IS A BIT OF ART IMITATING LIFE

Brett Young thinks his latest single, “Catch,” was a great choice to follow up his #1 song, “Here Tonight,” for a lot of reasons.  Not only does he like the play on the word “catch,” but It’s sort of a tip of the hat to Brett’s life.  He says, “Me having spent so much of my life playing baseball, and if you’ve seen the music video, you know there’s kind of a nod to my baseball past as well, and so it’s a really fun one.”

Brett’s latest album, Ticket to L.A., is full of a lot of songs that could have been the follow up single to “Here Tonight,” but Brett says, “I think for us it was the obvious choice for a single just because of the kind of relentless chorus melody and feel-good nature of the song in general.”

You can catch Brent (no pun intended) all summer on the fair and festival touring circuit. Check brettyoungmusic.com for all of his latest tour dates.
