Brett Young is getting married in a couple of months, and since his dad is a preacher, it might make sense for him to do the ceremony, but Brett says, “He didn’t want to. He wants to be able to be a dad. He is going to get up at the very end for the official part. He will be the actual, official ordained minister that pronounces us man and wife.”
But for the majority of the ceremony, Brett has enlisted a friend to do the honors. He explains, “A very close friend is going to learn my dad’s ceremony. And he’s going to do the first 80 percent of it but deliver my dad’s words, personalized, of course.”
The end of the year is going to be very busy for Brett, who will be getting married in November and releasing his new album, Ticket to L.A., featuring his brand new single, “Here Tonight,” on December 7th.
