(AUDIO) BRETT YOUNG’S GOAL THIS YEAR IS TO NOT GET COMFORTABLE

Things have been going pretty well so far for Brett Young at this stage in his career.  He has a #1 song, and his latest single, “In Case You Didn’t Know,” continues to move up the chart, plus, he’s getting a chance to be on some great tours this year, including Luke Bryan’s, Justin Moore and Lee Brice’s co-headlining tour, and Lady Antebellum’s upcoming tour.  So when it comes to goals in 2017, Brett says, “It probably sounds very vague but I just want to make sure that between now and then I don’t get comfortable. You know you have a little bit of success and then you just kind of lean into it and let it be what it is”

Brett has a passion for songwriting and he says, “I moved here because I love songwriting and I want to make sure that I keep turning in songs that belong on the albums that we already have out and that everything about this is growing so that I can look back and see the progress because there are so many opportunities to get better at what I’m doing with all the amazing artists and writers and everybody in this town. So I just want to make sure that I continue to work hard and this continues to grow and that’s really my only goal.”

That is definitely not a bad goal to have.
