(AUDIO) BRIAN KELLEY OF FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE SAYS HIS SIXTH GRADE SELF WOULD BE BLOWN AWAY BY HIS COLLABORATION WITH THE BACKSTREET BOYS

CONGRATULATIONS TO TWO TIME ACM AWARD WINNERS FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE, WHO PICKED UP THE AWARDS FOR SINGLE OF THE YEAR FOR “H.O.L.Y.” AND VOCAL EVENT OF THE YEAR FOR “MAY WE ALL.”

Florida Georgia Line’s Brian Kelley has shared the story that when he was in the 6th grade, he got invited to go to a birthday party at the House of Blues to see the Backstreet Boys perform.  So now that Florida Georgia Line has recorded their latest single, “God, Your Mama and Me” with the Backstreet Boys, and they’ll be going on tour with them this summer, what would Brian’s 6th grade self think of all of that?  Brian says, “We’re still living the dream every single day. I don’t know what to think of this thing. Everything’s just happening so quick. And the thing I take away from it is just God working.  I know that’s crazy but we believe that God has placed us together to live out our dreams and to hopefully affect people through music and song, and the lives we live, and people we get to come in contact with, and get to hear amazing stories and turn them into songs and share them with people and travel.  So, blown away is what he would be. Hell yeah!”

Florida Georgia Line will play three stadium shows this summer as part of The Smooth Tour, with the Backstreet Boys, as well as Nelly and Chris Lane, who will be on tour with them all summer.
