“Oh gosh, I wish everyone who went through something difficult could write an album about it and then get to meet other people through that process, because that has been the most healing thing for me. And what I feel like a lot of fans don’t realize is when they’re coming to me or messaging me or saying to me, you’ve helped me to not feel alone, or you’ve helped me to feel like somebody else knows what I’m talking about, they’re kind of in return doing that for me. And that’s been just a really beautiful thing that I’ve never experienced as an artist.”
