CURRENT SINGLE: “Gave It Back Broken”
For a lot of kids, getting their driver’s license is the #1 priority when they turn 16, but Callista Clark was in no hurry to get hers. Callista says the crazy drivers in Nashville scared her off of wanting to drive. But recently, Callista revealed there’s been some progress … sort of. “I got my license. Yay! But do I drive? No. But I got it.”
Callista explains that her decision to get her license had nothing to do with wanting to drive. “I’m 18 years old and I still have the same learner’s license that I’ve always had from when I was 15, and that is the license I have to show everywhere I go – every show, every time I get on a plane, which is a lot,” she says. And she confesses, “It’s probably the worst picture I’ve ever taken. So, I finally was like, okay, I have to replace this picture.”
The only way to get a new ID was to get her driver’s license, and Callista says, “I was like, well, then I might as well just take my test and see if I pass. And I sure did!”
Make no mistake though, Callista says she still thinks Nashville drivers are crazy and she’s in no hurry to use her license to get behind the wheel of a car.
