CURRENT SINGLE: “Gave It Back Broken”
Growing up in the tiny town of Zebulon, Georgia, Callista Clark didn’t do very much traveling. But now that her career is taking off, she’s had a chance to visit dozens of cities across America, and she’s even found a couple of new favorite spots. “Honestly, Vail, Colorado, was one of my favorite places that I’ve ever been,” says Callista. “It was absolutely freezing and I had a show outside opening for Dierks Bentley, solo acoustic, and it was like 15° outside – maybe – and full wind and snow. And they’re like, ‘Oh, the stage is gonna be heated.’ It was not.”
But despite freezing to death while trying to play her guitar, Callista still fell in love with the area. “It was like so cold, but it was so beautiful and absolutely worth it, and so much fun,” says Callista.
Another city Callista managed to enjoy, despite more inclement weather, was Seattle. She says, “It was raining the whole time I was there but it was absolutely beautiful and I can’t wait to go back and maybe spend some time outside.”
Here’s hoping nothing but sunshine and blue skies are waiting for Callista whenever she returns to Vail or Seattle.
