Carly Pearce’s parents have always been incredibly supportive of her musical dreams, at one point even living apart so her mom could move with her to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee so that she could work as a singer at Dollywood when she was 16, while her dad held things down back at home in Kentucky. Carly says, “I talk a lot about the fact that my mom moved, but my dad always allowed me to go and funded all my trips, and took care of my sick grandfather when I wanted to go to Dollywood, and made sure that my mom and I could do that. So he’s always been the vessel to be able to make my dreams come true, and my parents have never told me that I couldn’t do something. So I just have to say, this would not be anything without you dad.”
To this day, Carly’s parents are incredibly supportive of her career and even travel with her sometimes on the road to see her shows. Throughout the summer, Carly will be opening for Jason Aldean on his Ride All Night Tour, while preparing to release her sophomore album, which she has dubbed “CP2,” featuring her latest single, “Closer to You.”
