Carly Pearce will release her debut album, Every Little Thing, on October 13th, and for her it’s the culmination of a lot of perseverance through ups and downs, disappointments and heartbreaks while pursuing her dream of country music. While Carly could have given up many times along the way on her dream, she says, “I think my faith is a big part of why I’m here. I lean on God’s plan for me and it has always led me this way even if it’s just a very small part of something saying, ‘That door is open, go walk through it.’”
She also credits her mom for never letting her give up, no matter how disappointed she may have been along the way. Carly says, “My mom is a very big strength for me and has always told me I could do it but also always kicked me in the butt and said, ‘You’ve got to go out work everybody. So don’t think for a second that you can, you know, you can have your moment to cry about it but then get up and go.’ And I think both of those things have kept me going.”
Carly’s album is named after her debut single, “Every Little Thing,” which is currently in the top ten on the charts and climbing.
