If you follow Carly Pearce on social media then you know she is fairly open about her relationship with her fiancé, Michael Ray. Carly says, “I think every artist is different and everybody’s approach to it is different. And I’ve just chosen that I want to take you along on my life.”
Michael is just as open about Carly on his social media, and she says, “It’s easier for me to just make everything one thing and it’s easier when you have somebody who does it too.”
Carly will release her sophomore album later this year, featuring her current single, “Closer to You,” and she says, “It’s fun for me now to have somebody that I feel like people know, to be able to hear these songs and see them almost in a different light because we’ve been so open with everything.”
Carly didn’t write her current single, but she says as soon as she heard it, it instantly made her think of Michael and made her want to record it.
