When Carly Pearce married fellow artist, Michael Ray, not only did she gain a husband, but she gained a true confidant and teammate who truly “gets” her life, and having that means everything to Carly. “It really, really does because it’s an ugly business full of competition and full of misunderstandings, in a world where sometimes you feel alone. And to be able to have somebody that genuinely wants what’s best for me, I want what’s best for him, yet we also speak the same language, is so special and rare and I do not take that for granted.”
Case in point, Michael has been one of the biggest champions and fans of Carly’s duet with Lee Brice, “I Hope You’re Happy Now,” which has become her fastest rising single of her career, and will be featured on her self-titled sophomore album, which will be released on Valentine’s Day, February 14th.
