Carly Pearce is an avid runner, often clocking four to seven miles a day. She even gets out for runs when she’s out on the road, because it’s her stress reliever and head clearer. When deciding where to run, Carly says, “I really like to find the greenways. I just recently went to Boston and ran along the river, which was awesome.”
With all the maps and modern technology available these days, you’d think Carly could run just about everywhere without fear of getting lost, but she says, “[I] try to find places that I’m not going to get lost, because I am not good with a GPS on my phone.”
Perhaps Carly will want to pre-plan some routes for the upcoming “We Are Old Dominion Tour,” which she’ll be an opener on, along with Dustin Lynch. The tour will kick off in May and run through August. By then, Carly’s self-titled sophomore album, featuring her top 20 hit with Lee Brice, “I Hope You’re Happy Now,” will have been out for three months (available 2/14), so fans will have time to learn the lyrics to any new songs she might add to her set list.
