Carly Pearce’s latest song, “Truck on Fire,” is all about getting revenge on a lying, cheating guy by setting his beloved truck on fire. Carly isn’t condoning such behavior with the song, but she admits she wanted to give women an anthem that was sort of a fun revenge fantasy

“’Truck on Fire’ is a song that I have been so excited for people to hear. It feels like girls are just loving it, and I kind of wrote it for the ladies. I wrote this song with Charles Kelly of Lady A, and I just wanted an anthem of the things that we think about, ladies, that we can’t necessarily do, but when we’re treated bad we’d like to burn up exactly what the guy loves.”
