When Carly Pearce was young, her mom would go all out on Halloween, throwing elaborate parties and buying or making Carly the best costumes, so as an adult she still enjoys dressing up from time to time.  Carly recalls one recent Halloween.  “Three years ago I hosted a Bluebird round in Nashville and had three other songwriters there and we all dressed up, and I dressed up as Dorothy (from the Wizard of Oz) and I looked pretty exact to Dorothy.”

Besides getting ready to celebrate Halloween, Carly is celebrating the fact that her debut single, “Every Little Thing,” is in the top five this week and inching closer to becoming her first #1 song
