If you follow Carly Pearce on social media, you’ve probably seen her share pictures of her girls’ nights with people like Maren Morris and Kelsea Ballerini. Having friends in the same line of work is invaluable to Carly. She says, “Those girls have walked every situation that I’ve walked and there’s just a sisterhood there. Most people don’t understand because you haven’t lived what we live and you can’t really ask certain people questions.”
Carly says it’s nice to have girlfriends who understand her life. “We can all bond over what we deal with as female artists in the industry. And it’s just nice to feel like you’re not alone sometimes.”
Kelsea and Maren are also both married to other artists (Morgan Evans and Ryan Hurd), which is something else Carly is able to bond over with them, since she will soon be married to Michael Ray. They’ve also both experienced releasing their sophomore album, which is something Carly will be doing later this year, featuring her latest single, “Closer to You.”
