(AUDIO) CARLY PEARCE SHARES HER REQUIREMENTS FOR LOVE

CURRENT SINGLE: “What He Didn’t Do”

In Carly Pearce’s latest top ten single, “What He Didn’t Do,” she sings about the things her significant other failed to do in their relationship that we’re deal breakers for her.

“Treat me right, put me first, be a man of his word

Stay home ’cause he wanted to

Always fight for my love, hold on tight like it’s something

That he couldn’t stand to lose.”

When Carly started dating again after her divorce, she had certain non-negotiable qualities that a man had to have in order to be in her life.

“Trust is probably the biggest non-negotiable for me. I feel like I’m pretty simple. I just wanna be treated with respect. I still am a little bit old-school in believing that chivalry is not dead, and a man should, you know, court a girl. I think they have to have a sense of humor and they have to love country music and they have to love June, my puppy. If they don’t love June, they’re out. You gotta love dogs.”

Fortunately, Carly found all those qualities and more in her current boyfriend, Riley King, and the happy couple will celebrate their two year anniversary in April.
