The painful break up that inspired Carly Pearce’s debut single, “Every Little Thing,” was not a pleasant experience to say the least, but ultimately, it led to a fantastic song that is doing extremely well on the country charts, and for that, Carly is grateful.  Whether or not the guy who inspired the song knows it’s about him is something Carly isn’t sure about.  She says, “I have not talked to him in years. I think that if he hears the song he will know that it’s about him. I wonder if he knows it’s about him.  I wish him well and really do thank him for the song.”

I’m sure country music fans would love to thank him too, for inspiring “Every Little Thing,” a song that so many people are loving and relating to these days.
