When Carly Pearce and Michael Ray got married on October 6th, they revealed that they would be delaying their honeymoon until the end of the year, when they were both done with work for 2019. Michael’s last show of the year is on December 11th, and Carly’s is December 12th, which means they’ve probably already started packing to head to Sandals Resort in Jamaica to stay in one of their over-water bungalows. Carly chose the destination because she says, “All I’ve ever wanted to do is go in one of those bungalows. They just look amazing to me, and they’re, like, private and awesome and sexy, and we finally get to go after we finish for December.”
Carly’s duet with Lee Brice, “I Hope You’re Happy Now,” is quickly approaching the top 30 on the charts, and she’s ramping up to release her self-titled sophomore album on Valentine’s Day 2020, so she’ll be getting back to work soon after the holidays are over. In the meantime, she’ll be enjoying her Jamaican honeymoon before heading to her parents’ house in Alabama to celebrate Christmas with Michael, and if anyone wants to know if the over-water bungalows are as amazing as they look on TV and in magazines, Carly says, ”Check back with me, I’ll let you know about it.”
