Cassadee Pope is in the middle of the Sundown Heaven Town Tour with Tim McGraw and she’s busy promoting her latest single, “I Wish I Could Break Your Heart,” which is a lot of fun, but also a lot of work. Cassadee says whenever she gets stressed out or just needs a break, the place she loves to head to is the beach. “The beach is really the place that I can escape and just watch the waves, and completely stop thinking about anything, any responsibilities, anything on my mind,” says Cassadee. “And I grew up, basically on the beach. I’m from Florida and I take comfort in goin’.”

She may have to wait a little while before she heads back to the beach since she’s got a pretty jam-packed schedule this summer. You can see a complete list of Cassadee’s tour dates here.
