Cassadee Pope has been fairly quiet on the music scene for the past year, but she says that’s because she was writing non-stop for her new album. “Over the last year I’ve been writing, basically, five days a week, for the past eight or nine months and it’s really helped me figure out what exactly I want to say, and what the message is, and what I stand for,” says Cassadee. “I’ve gotten to write with some really incredible people like Sarah Buxton and Nathan Chapman and Liz Rose. So, I’m just excited for people to hear what’s been going on in my brain over the past year.”
The first glimpse into Cassadee’s brain is her brand new single, “I Am Invincible,” the first release off her forthcoming sophomore album.
