Cassadee Pope receives her fair share of fan mail these days and she admits that when she was younger she once wrote a fan letter of her own to Martina McBride. She says, “I had just covered ‘Broken Wing’ at a talent contest at school, in middle school, and I just wanted her to know that I won and I wanted to thank her for the inspiration and for being such an incredible singer.”
Cassadee didn’t get a response to her letter from Martina at the time, but she says, “I did meet her at the ACM’s last year and she couldn’t have been nicer.”
A lot of the feedback that Cassadee is receiving from her fans these days has to do with her empowering new single, “I Am Invincible.”
