This Father’s Day, Cassadee Pope is thankful for a renewed relationship with her dad that happened when she was a contestant on The Voice. Cassadee says her dad has always been supportive of her music, but they hadn’t been close for a while. “The Voice’ is what really reconnected us and made our relationship the best it’s ever been,” she explains. “And I love the fact that I can call him up now and he can call me and it’s just like the old days. So, I’m really, really appreciative that he’s back in my life.”

Cassadee, whose latest single, “I Wish I Could Break Your Heart” is currently climbing the charts says, “My Dad and I have always had this kinda goofy relationship. He has a lot to do with my goofy side. We would bond over Jim Carrey movies, and Adam Sandler movies.”
