With Memorial Day approaching, Cassadee Pope says she would love the chance to do a USO Tour or some sort of tour that allowed her to visit with and perform for our troops. “I would absolutely be just thrilled to take a tour like that because I’ve had the opportunity of meeting a lot of people in the services on planes, like sitting next to me and talking to them and just thanking them for everything they’ve done for me, and it would just be an honor to be able to go there and give ‘em some entertainment, shake their hands, thank ‘em in person.”

For now, Cassadee will have a chance to meet some members of our military on Tim McGraw’s Sundown Heaven Town Tour, because he is giving away a new home to a deserving military family at each of his tour stops in conjunction with Operation Homefront. So perhaps while promoting her latest single, “I Wish I Could Break Your Heart,” she could arrange some dates to visit with our troops.
