Cassadee Pope just released her new single, “I Wish I Could Break Your Heart,” and she is fully committed to her music career, but she says if music hadn’t worked out or if she ever had to consider a plan B, it probably would have been acting. “It’s another form of entertainment and I did some (acting) growing up,” says Cassadee. “I did a few musicals, including ‘Grease’ in my school play where I played Sandy, and I absolutely loved it. I had to search eBay for some poodle skirts ‘cause I surprisingly didn’t have any lying around. I loved practicing everyday with my class and it was just another excuse for me to get on stage in front of a crowd.”
For now she’s happy to take the stage to sing her own music, and perhaps she’ll get to explore acting in the future as an extension to her music career.
