Veterans Day is coming up on Wednesday, November11th, and while Chris Janson never served in the military, his reverence and gratitude for those who do choose to serve, knows no bounds.

“Anybody who volunteers to serve the freaking country, volunteering to stand up for the freedoms and the rights of the American people, that’s a big deal, lest we never forget that. I’m so grateful, I’ve said a gazillion times, I say it until I’m blue in the face, I’m so grateful for my freedom, and it is absolutely provided by people who are serving. I come from a small Midwestern farming community. College was really not on the horizon, ’cause most people couldn’t afford it. So, it was either work – and by work I mean farming – or factory or military. And so, a lot of my friends went to the military, came back, thankfully. I have such reverence in my heart for the military.”
