Jennifer Nettles released her first ever Christmas album, To Celebrate Christmas, a month ago, and she says the inspiration for the album came from her years of hosting the CMA Country Christmas television special. “I have had the pleasure of hosting CMA Country Christmas, a Christmas music show, really much like the old school variety shows for seven years now,” says Jennifer. “And I have had the joy of singing so much wonderful holiday music. I figured after seven years of doing that I’d had a wonderful opportunity to audition, so to speak, which songs would be my favorite and make a collection of them here.”
Jennifer has been busy promoting her Christmas album, in addition to her latest single, “Hey Heartbreak.” Plus, you van see her host CMA Country Christmas tonight (Monday night) on ABC. Then don’t miss Jennifer starring in Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love, coming up November 30th on NBC.
