DEBUT SINGLE – “Learn From It”
Conner Smith’s debut single, “Learn from It,” is all about the trouble he got into and the lessons he learned the hard way while growing up While Conner was mostly a good kid, never in any serious trouble, he does admit that the worst trouble he ever got in with his parents happened just a couple years ago. He says it all started, “the day I signed a record deal. I drove from signing the contract and I went and bought a motorcycle. And that was my mom‘s one big no-no.”
Conner grew up with his mom warning him about the danger of motorcycles, especially because of other inattentive drivers, but he bought the bike anyway because he says, “You know, it was my money. It was like my one big dream, was to get a motorcycle. And so I went and bought one, and it was calm. It wasn’t anything crazy. But I hid it in my best friend’s garage and when my parents found out a couple days later, it was not pretty.”
Conner reveals he bought an old truck a while ago and sold the motorcycle to have more money to invest in fixing up the truck, which we’re sure thrilled his mom.
