DEBUT SINGLE – “Learn From It”
Conner Smith is just getting started with his career, but he’s been lucky to form a tight friendship with Thomas Rhett, who has also become a mentor to him. Conner says, “Thomas has been so massive for me, just having the wisdom of someone who’s standing where I hope to stand one day, and has done it in the most respectful way that I’ve really seen. To have him encourage me, and him being available to me to really ask the tough questions has been really cool.”
Thomas has given Conner a lot of great advice, but Conner says, “The best advice he’s given me, he said, ‘This is only as crazy as you make it. This can be as crazy as you want it to be but that’s your decision. You get out of this lifestyle what you want.’ It’s in my control at the end of the day.”
Conner will have a chance to learn a whole lot more from Thomas Rhett this summer when he opens for him on his Bring the Bar to You Tour.
