(AUDIO) CONNER SMITH KNOWS HE’LL REGRET NOT TAKING THE TIME TO SLOW DOWN AND SOAK IT ALL IN

CURRENT SINGLE – “Take It Slow”

Conner Smith’s career is just beginning, but he’s already had some incredible experiences, like making his debut on the Grand Ole Opry, and getting to go on tour with Thomas Rhett.  A lot of artists say the thing they would go back and change in their careers if they could, is to slow down in the early stages of their career and soak it all in, when everything can go buy in a blur.

“It’s hard, even when you know those things. I’ve so many artist, say to me like, the most enjoyable times that we had as an artist was the coming up phase. I hear it so often, but it’s hard because you’re always looking for the next thing, I think. It’s so easy for a week or a month to fly by because you’re always looking for what you have to look forward to next, which is an awesome thing because it just means there’s so much amazing moments you get to celebrate, but also, you fail to celebrate a lot of things and kind of just appreciate a lot of things. And so, it is difficult, but I try to be mindful of just finding moments where I can slow down, finding moments where I can just speak my gratitude to others for where I’m at and how I’ve gotten here. So, it’s a daily battle, but it’s something I’m mindful of.”

Luckily for Conner, some of the moments of his career will be preserved on video when he gets a chance to slow down. Speaking of videos, Conner will be dropping the video for his latest single, ironically titled, “Take It Slow,” this Wednesday, 1/25.
