DEBUT SINGLE – “Learn From It”
Nashville native Conner Smith just celebrated his 21st birthday on September 6th, and this week he’s celebrating his debut single, “Learn From It,” officially going to country radio. “The song ‘Learn From It,’ I mean, it’s straight up just the story of my life,” says Conner, “just a lot of lessons learned the hard way.”
Conner has a penchant for writing country ballads, so when it came to writing “Learn From It,” he had to push himself a little. “I had this idea in my apartment one day,” says Conner. “I just started to play these chords and I was trying to figure out how to write a song that was upbeat, fun, not a love song and I just couldn’t. I couldn’t figure it out.”
Conner eventually came up with the idea of “Learn From It,” and writing about different life scenarios that he’s learned some lessons from the hard way. After getting the song started, he teamed up with Daniel Ross to finish it, and now it’s his debut single.
Conner has been spending his summer introducing himself to country music fans across the country playing some of his own shows as well as opening some shows for Thomas Rhett and Sam Hunt. Find out where you can see Conner perform live by checking his concert page ConnerSmithMusic.com.
