CURRENT SINGLE: “Country Again”
Thomas Rhett (TR) has been rapidly climbing the charts with his latest song, “Country Again,” which is already in the top 20, just seven weeks after it was released. Thomas says, “I think this song really is about my life, just slowing down and really trying to look at the priorities in my life and what they mean to me. And realizing that it’s okay just to stop for a second. It’s okay to live simple and to really just put your priorities at the top of your list – the ones that are most important to you.”
TR felt like he was already starting to head in that direction before the pandemic, but then having a year off the road at home with his family definitely accelerated the process. And while he cherishes his career and is grateful every day for his success, when it comes to the things he puts at the top of his priorities list, Thomas says, “For me, that’s becoming a better dad, a better husband, a better friend, a better son, a better brother, and really just kinda getting back to my roots a little bit and what all that entails.”
Now that he’s had over a year to focus on those priorities, TR is ready to jump back on his tour bus and get out and play some live shows, which he’ll get to do all summer long at fairs and festivals, and then on his Center Point Road Tour, which kicks off August 13, with two nights in Orange, Alabama.
