DEBUT SINGLE – “Shuffle”
For Laci Kaye Booth, being a country singer was the only career option for her from the time she was a little girl. “I’ve known for a long time that I wanted to be a singer,” says Laci. “I don’t ever remember a time where I wasn’t singing, and I started writing songs around the age of nine.”
When she was 15 years old, that’s when Laci says, “I really picked up a guitar and said, ‘I wanna go play shows.’”
She worked on her guitar playing and her stage presence, and then Laci says, “I started playing shows at 17, into my 20s. I was playing gigs around [my home state of] Texas – restaurants, bars that would have me, events, fundraisers, benefits.”
Now at age 26, Laci has a large fanbase she was able to build through her appearance on season 17 of American Idol, and she’s making new fans every day as she travels the country promoting her debut single, “Shuffle.”
