The Cadillac Three‘s new song, “Crackin’ Cold Ones with the Boys,” always gets the party going during their live shows. Drummer Neil Mason says as soon as they start playing the song, “Everybody throws their hand in the air with the beer.”
Steel player Kelby Ray adds, “Everybody starts head banging, immediately.”
While “Crackin’ Cold Ones with the Boys” is a fun party song, Jaren Johnston says, “It’s the simplest song in the world but it’s kinda hard to play. And so I haven’t really noticed the crowd because I’m literally staring at my guitar and listening to the drums just trying to figure out am I doing this right. It’s a tough one.”
You can actually see the first time The Cadillac Three perform “Crackin’ Cold Ones with the Boys” live, because it was filmed and turned into the music video for the song. According to Neil, “We had never played it live before then.”
