(AUDIO) DANIELLE BRADBERY AND HER FANS ARE GROWING UP TOGETHER

Danielle Bradbery started developing her fan base when she first appeared on the NBC singing competition The Voice, back in 2013, and to this day, many of those same fans have continued to follow her career and stay in touch, and Danielle says, “What’s really cool about it is some of those fans have stuck with me since the beginning so we kind of grew up together. I remember seeing one of the girls at a show recently and she’s 19 now and when she followed, she was about 13… And it’s just like wow we both have grown up. It’s not like, ‘Oh, you’ve grown up.’ I’m like ‘Girl, we’ve been through this together.’”

Danielle was 16 when she won The Voice, and now she’s 21, and just as she has grown up, so have her songs and she says, “Seeing [my original fans], seeing new fans that I’ve gained, direct message me and say stuff that is just going on with them. I’m like, I hope my song teaches you, or reaches out, or helps to you in a way I want us to be on the same page and hopefully help them in any way possible. So, hopefully my songs do.”

Danielle’s latest song, “Worth It,” is a great anthem for everybody, but particularly for young women, to remind them to value their self-worth and to never let anyone take that away from them.

Danielle Bradbery – growing with fans  :47

“Seeing fans on social media, and what’s really cool about it is some of those fans have stuck with me since the beginning so we kind of grew up together. I remember seeing one of the girls at a show recently and she’s 19 now and when she followed, she was about 13.  I don’t know if that math is right, but somewhere in there.  And it’s just like wow we both have grown up. It’s not like, ‘Oh, you’ve grown up.’ I’m like ‘Girl, we’ve been through this together.’ And so seeing them, seeing new fans that I’ve gained, direct message me and say stuff that is just going on with them. I’m like, I hope my song teaches you, or reaches out, or helps to you in a way I want us to be on the same page and hopefully help them in any way possible. So, hopefully my songs do.”
