(AUDIO) DANIELLE BRADBERY CREDITS CARRIE UNDERWOOD WITH INSPIRING HER TO WANT TO SING

Before Danielle Bradbery was on The Voice, back in 2013 and before she knew she was going to make her living as a singer, she credits Carrie Underwood with inspiring her to want to sing.  Danielle says, “I lived with every Carrie Underwood album you could think of.  Even younger, I sang and could tell you every single song that she’s probably sang. I remember owning a DVD that went with one of her albums.  It was like the recording process of her singing some of the songs in the studio, and I’d watch that and see her perform these songs in the studio that I didn’t even know about at the time.  And seeing her I was like, okay, yeah, I want to be her and I want to sing like her.”

Now that Danielle is on the radio with her latest single, “Goodbye Summer,” which she sings with Thomas Rhett, and she’s out touring, chances are she’s inspiring other young girls to want to pursue their dream of a music career.

I always say this, but it’s so true, I lived with every Carrie Underwood album you could think of.  Even younger, I sang and could tell you every single song that she’s probably sang. I remember owning a DVD that went with one of her albums.  It was like the recording process of her singing some of the songs in the studio, and I’d watch that and see her perform these songs in the studio that I didn’t even know about at the time.  And seeing her I was like, okay, yeah, I want to be her and I want to sing like her.  And so she was definitely a big one for me.”
