Danielle Bradbery is all grown up and delivering a more mature, evolved, more self-aware sound with her sophomore album, I Don’t Believe We’ve Met, which will be released on December 1st. When she won The Voice, Danielle was only 16 years old and still figuring out who she was as a person and as an artist. Now she is 21, and she says getting to the place she’s at on her new album was a matter of learning how to write songs and how to write her truth and combining that with the sounds she was influenced by while growing up. “I think just from growing up listening to all different types of music and just listening to what my mom still listens to and just the combination of R&B and, fun fact, Latina music, and so all of that inspiration has always lived with me,” says Danielle. “So now that I’m getting to write I get to really express what I love and what I’m most comfortable sharing with people and what I have fun singing. So I kind of figured it out just from growing up listening to music.”
You can hear Danielle’s fresh, new sound on her latest single, “Sway,” which is the lead track off of I Don’t Believe We’ve Met.
