(AUDIO) DANIELLE BRADBERY THOUGHT SHE WAS GOING TO BE A HAIRDRESSER

Danielle Bradbery was only 16 years old when she shot to fame on the TV show The Voice and launched her music career, so she never really had a chance to have another job before music.  But if she had to say what she might have done if music hadn’t panned out, Danielle says, “One thing that I did think I was gonna do is, my mom is a hairdresser and she has been for a long time, and I’ve always been around it. I was so little running around the salon that she worked at, and still works at, and I watched her cut and do hair all the time.  And so, that’s what I thought I was gonna do.”

These days Danielle is on the radio with her latest single, “Never Have I Ever,” but she still has a soft spot in her heart for hairdressing.  “I have such a love for it still,” she says, “And I even got a tattoo of shears, which are scissors, on me for my mom and just that world.”

You can see Danielle’s shears tattoos on her outer right wrist.  Some of her other tattoos include a steer head skull, the number 23, the quote “God is greater than the highs and lows,” three tiny stars on her right ring finger, the outline of the state of Texas and three dots, which she says “mean one with earth.”  Danielle recently shared one of her hidden tattoos on Instagram on the outer, upper part of her right thigh, which says “Me vs Me”.  She says it means you’re always your worst critic.
