(AUDIO) DANIELLE BRADBERY WANTS TO HONOR HER HERITAGE WITH HER NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION

Danielle Bradbery says one New Year’s resolution she’d like to make and keep is to learn how to speak Spanish.  Some people may be surprised to know that Danielle has Hispanic heritage in her family.  She says, “My grandmother growing up she always spoke Spanish to me and my sister when we were little. So she was talking to us in Spanish and telling us, ‘What is couch in Spanish?  What is table?’”

Danielle will never forget those times with her grandmother, although she laughs when she admits that she did forget all the Spanish words she learned.  So that’s something she’d like to get back, and she says, “I think working out is everybody’s, you know, sticking to it and not skipping days that will always be one of mine too.”

While Danielle contemplates learning Spanish or getting consistent with her workouts, she’s enjoying the feedback she’s been getting from her fans about her newly released I Don’t Believe We’ve Met – The Vocals.  To celebrate the one-year anniversary of her album, she recorded a Capella versions of three of the songs on the album, which are available now on your favorite streaming or download platform.

“Honestly learning how to speak Spanish has been one of mine but I haven’t taken it too, too seriously. But speaking Spanish and you know that world is in my family line. So my grandmother growing up she always spoke Spanish to me and my sister when we were little. So she was talking to us in Spanish and telling us, ‘What is couch in Spanish?  What is table?’ And I will never forget that, even though I have forgotten what couch and table and everything is in Spanish.  But, definitely one of ‘em is learning how to do that and I know my mom says she wishes she had caught onto it earlier.  But I think working out is everybody’s you know sticking to it and not skipping days that will always be one of mine too.”
