Danielle Bradbery has the unique distinction of never having a real job before music, because she was only 16 years old when she was thrust into the national spotlight as the winner of season four of The Voice. “It is crazy to think about, you know I have been in the music industry since I was 16 and I honestly haven’t had that real job,” says Danielle.
The closest she came was running a lemonade stand with her stepsister when they were kids. Other than that, she says, “I just kind of looked up to my mom being a hairdresser. I love to do that kind of stuff,” so that could have been her career path. But she says, “Other than that music has been in my life for a long time.”
Since Labor Day is considered the unofficial end of summer, Danielle’s new single, “Goodbye Summer,” featuring Thomas Rhett, is hitting radio at just the right time.

“It is crazy to think about, you know I have been in the music industry since I was 16 and I honestly haven’t had that real job, and it’s crazy to think about. I’ve honestly thought about if I did. But I did do the little lemonade stands. I know that sounds cheesy, but it was a thing that I did with my stepsister, or with friends as a kid. But I just kind of looked up to my mom being a hairdresser. I love to do that kind of stuff. Other than that music has been in my life for a long time.”
