BRAND NEW SINGLE: “A Special Place”
(Listen to the acoustic version of “A Special Place”)
Danielle Bradbery has one of the most incredible voices, whether she is singing a heart wrenching ballad like “Break My Heart Again” or belting out her new song, “A Special Place.” When she first stepped into the spotlight at age 16, after winning season four of NBC’s The Voice, Danielle didn’t necessarily have the life experience to go along with all the emotions she was singing about in her songs. But now, at 26, Danielle has experienced true love and heart break, joy and sadness, and has been able to take her singing to another level by adding the true lived emotion to the lyrics she sings.
Danielle Bradbery – life experience in songs :38
“I definitely see a difference from when I was young, 16, 17, 18, in tapping into the emotion behind the song. You gain life experience under your belt. Personally, I did. And yeah, I had producers, or whoever was recording me when I was younger, to tell me, ‘Like, feel it.’ But after life under my belt, if I’m recording a song, I find that time in my life that that happened. And I have to tap into that and be sad again or be mad again or be so happy, and that truth and honesty and life experience brings the song to life.”
