(AUDIO) Drake White Crosses Alabama Lines For The Love Of His Grandpa and Football

Anybody from Alabama knows you are usually either an Auburn fan or an Alabama fan, but Drake White actually went to school at Auburn and admits he is a diehard Crimson Tide fan. He explains, “I was raised by the most die-hard Alabama fan in the world, Mr. Jack White, my late Grandfather, and he raised me. Every Saturday we would go over to the house and watch Alabama play football, every Saturday.”

Drake also says although he was an Alabama fan before he went to Auburn, the lifestyle he was able to live while attending Auburn was more his speed. “Tuscaloosa [where U of A is located] is more city life type thing and Auburn’s kinda out in the sticks, they say. But, I redid a cabin that was built in the early 1900’s and that’s where I lived while I went to school at Auburn. So I got to live out in the woods, got to be out in nature and go to school, get an education and so that’s why I went to Auburn, but I remained an Alabama fan.”

Drake is about to release his debut single on Dot Records called “Feels Good.”
