Drake White writes a lot of his own songs, and when he needs feedback or wants an honest opinion about his work, one person he can count on is his wife. Drake says, “I play a lot of songs for my wife. When I get finished with a song I always bring it to her and she listens to nearly every song that I write.”
Another great sounding board for Drake is his band, because he says, “They’re very critical, very honest.” Not to mention, if he ends up recording a song, his band will end up having to play it, so they’re more likely to be honest when they don’t like something.
Thankfully, everybody gave a thumbs up to Drake’s current single, “It Feels Good.”
