Drake White co-wrote his latest single, “Makin’ Me Look Good Again” about his wife Alex, and he says, “I love singing it because it’s right in the key that I love. And I wrote that song about the best woman in the world to me and the concept of when she’s standing beside me that I’m a lot better off than when she’s not. So there’s a deep kind of love in it and there’s a deep kind of passion to it.”

Besides the emotion, Drake loves the structure and sound of the song.  He says, “I’m just proud of the way it lyrically came out and the way it lyrically flows. And there’s just some songs that groove man.  I mean you just sing ‘em and they come out right and they feel right and people react to them.  And we’ve had the opportunity of playing that song out live to thousands of people and it’s gettin’ a cool reaction.”

Drake will wrap up his Spark Tour this Friday before embarking on a summer full of fair and festival dates.
