Drake White has spent a lot of time on the road touring and promoting his music, like his latest single, “It Feels Good,” so it’s only natural that he would have some interesting stories about his travels. Drake recalls one hot story from his time on The Country Throwdown Tour. “We had an RV, an old RV that we borrowed from a good friend of ours that was stupid enough to let us borrow it,” he laughs. “And my dad was driving down the backside of the Rocky Mountains, and it was like 2 o’clock in the morning and we’d all been drinking and I was asleep in back. And he had stood on the brakes so much that they got so hot that the back tires caught on fire and the whole bus was like smoked out. And like I remember my wife now, she woke me up and she was like, ‘Get up! Get up! The bus is on fire!’”
Drake says that is probably the craziest story from his road days so far. He’ll have a chance to add to his road stories when he hits the road with Little Big Town this fall.

I went a couple of years ago on The Country Throwdown Tour, Willie Nelson, Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, Lee Brice, Brantley Gilbert. And we had an RV, an old RV that we borrowed from a good friend of ours that was stupid enough to let us borrow it.
