Drake White’s latest single is perhaps the most soulful song on his latest album, Spark.  Drake says, “I think ‘Makin’ Me Look Good Again’s’ definitely my stretching, kind of my tapping into my Ray Charles and Otis Redding Roots of soul.  And I really wanted to give a good step forward to the southern soul that I am, so I wanted to make sure that was represented in the record.”

Drake co-wrote “Makin’ Me Look Good Again” with Monty Criswell and Shane Minor and he says his wife Alex definitely inspired the song.
