(AUDIO) DRAKE WHITE WOULD HAVE WORKED IN THE GREAT OUTDOORS IF MUSIC WASN’T HIS CAREER

Before launching his music career, Drake White attended Auburn University, where he got his degree in building science.  So if he wasn’t “Livin’ the Dream” as he sings about in his latest single, making and playing music for a living, what would he have done with that degree?  Drake says, “If I could do anything else, I would definitely be outdoors. I would definitely work in the national park system. I have a background in construction and engineering, so I do love the concept of building something and I love working with people. So I love working with architects and engineers and all these different creative folks. But I think I would work in the National Forestry Commission somewhere building their roads and maintaining their highways and byways through the national parks.”

Fortunately, it doesn’t look like Drake will ever have to fall back on that degree anytime soon.  His song, “Livin’ the Dream,” is a top 15 (and still climbing) hit, his album, Spark, is continuing to sell and gain momentum, and he’s currently out on the road with Dierks Bentley, getting to introduce his music to thousands more new fans.
